WFA Summer Picnic 2018

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 4th for the Wisconsin Falconers Summer Picnic! Rain or shine! It will be held at Phil Chidley’s home just north of Weyauwega WI from 12pm – 3pm. Birds and good dogs welcome.  Free admission! The WFA will be providing grilled hamburgers and hotdogs as well as chips, soda, bottled water, paper plates and plastic utensils. Bringing a dish to pass (could be a desert) and your favorite beverage is very much welcomed and appreciated but not required. Your own lawn chairs are welcome. Bring your kids and grandkids. We hope to see you there!

We are working on a location for this year’s annual Winter Meet.  It looks like we might be moving it back to the Sun Prairie area will be held on February 2nd -3rd or 9th – 10th and the board will hold our winter meeting at that time.  You will receive a mailing or email with detailed time prior to the meet.  

At the Summer picnic: Dave Noble will do a demo on trapping methods using a temporary blind setup with a lure pole and bownet.  I’ll do a demo making a leash and jesses with parachute cord.
